downloaded the Free CD to MP3 Converter and it won't let me rip a CD. I want to
know how to rip a CD and
convert the songs into MP3.

If you could not see the CD tracks
in your free CD Ripper software's files list, then please do according to the
following steps,
A) Please click here to download
Microsoft's ASPI.EXE driver.
B) After downloading, please install it on
your computer and reboot your computer.
C) Retry the software. If the
CD Ripper program still does not work, please download the ASPI.EXE driver
of ADAPTEC from
http://www.adaptec.com,
D) After downloading, please install it on
your computer and reboot your computer.
E) Retry the software.

a suite of scripts designed to install the latest Adaptec ASPI layer on
