1. Run the command sysdm.cpl
2. Select the Tab System Protection.
3. Click on the drive you want to modify, typically C.
4. Click on Configure.
5. Disable system protection or Turn on system protection.
6. Click the Apply and OK button.

1. Click on Start > Settings or press the Windows Key + I.
2. Click on System on the left.
3. Click on About on the right.
4. Click on System protection.

The Control Panel should open to System Properties.
Click on the drive you want to modify, typically C.

Click on Disable system protection or Turn on system protection.
Click on OK.
